How Astrology Reads Your personality
Our
first episode was produced to help people understand that astrology can be used
in two ways - to have a closer look at your character or to forecast the
future.
Tonight's
episode was all about character and how you find it in the chart. After I had
my first astrology reading I was amazed that a total stranger could know what I
was like! It is unnerving to think that someone you have never met has such
insight into your character. When I started learning astrology I then
understood how the planets and where they are placed in the chart give you a
good indication of the personality.
And so I
studied my chart for years - pulling it apart and trying to work out who I was!
It is a bit like psychoanalysis - you can drive yourself mad just
digging around and navel gazing!
But the
good thing is that you start to understand that you are unique. That the
talents you thought belonged to everyone are just special to you - because you
interpret them in a different way. Reading the astrology chart is a bit like
looking into a microscope at DNA and you can pull the stands apart and dig down
as far as you like to discover something new.
I really enjoyed looking at Angelina Jolie and
Jennifer Aniston's charts - I was amazed at how similar they were. When the
split between Jen and Brad happened - people were usually in one camp or the
other - and it really annoys me that media commentators continue to call
Jennifer - "Poor Jen". These two women are on the world stage for a
reason. To teach us all something about relationships. Sometimes the grass is
not greener.
